program
One of the difficulties
in getting to the Andaman Islands is air transport. It is not easy
to find good rates, good connections, and reasonable transit time.
From the United States, there are flights from New York through British Airways
or Lufthansa, with direct connecting flights for Chennai from London (twice
a
week) or Frankfurt (six times a week), from San Francisco you can fly to Chennai
via Hong Kong.
On arrival at
Chennai, there is quite a good connection for Port Blair via Jet
Airways, but the return involves a long connection,
with a whole
day in Chennai. We can reserve a room for the day in a hotel if needed. From
Europe, one of the best solutions is to use one of the frequent Lufthansa
flights to Chennai. Our basic program is built around a stay of
eight nights, with
seven days of fishing on the 28-footer.
Our services
include a welcoming reception
at Port Blair Airport, transfers to and from the hotel, eight nights in
a double or triple room with (half-board), seven days of fishing
with a picnic lunch
provided, and fishing equipment for shore trolling and rock
fishing.
